Welcome to Advanced Nursing Services | St. Louis
Advanced Nursing Services is a locally owned and managed corporation providing the St. Louis area with quality nursing care since 1984. Since then, Margaret Holtman, RN, BSN, has maintained her commitment to professional and personal attention to the patients’ individual needs.
Our service provides the best possible care for our clients as our nurses are trained to manage high acuity situations for short and long-term illness in addition to providing assistance in addressing day to day activities.
Our R.N. Supervisor is available at no cost to you to plan your personal care and to discuss your individual concerns.
Maggie Holtman – President & Owner
Maggie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 1969 before moving to St. Louis. In 1984 she started Advanced Nursing Services of St. Louis, modeling it after the private nursing care her grandparents received in Nashville, Tennessee. Her business grew as she raised three children and continued to be very active in the community. Maggie supports The ALS Association, Alzheimer’s Association, Memory Care Home Solutions, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, The Muny, Opera St. Louis and MICDS among others. She is also a board member of Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and is a Zoning and Planning Commissioner for the City of Ladue.
Maggie takes great pride in the continuity and excellent care that Advanced Nursing Services of St. Louis provides its clients and the fact that they service all ages in whatever way needed. It is her staff that has allowed her to continuously provide the best level of care for her clients. She has had her staff for many years and is very particular in the selection process of how she selects her nurses and caregivers.

“Our children and I thank you so much for your help, love and concern during the difficult time of my husband’s illness. The nursing you provided made it possible for him to be at home and with his family. Each nurse gave him and me such good care and comfort. I could never have handled it alone.”
